Palolem is still one of the best places in Goa to relax and chill out, with lazy days and most shacks build bonfires and set tables around for the evening meals. Hut accommodation is now quite varied, ranging from 200rps to 1800rps per night. Quite expensive by hotel rates but for 1800 you do get windows, A/C and really nice decor. All have electricity with a toilet and shower block provided. Try to get one on the beach front and go to bed with the sound of the ocean. OK so Palolem has grown, but it still has charm and is worth a visit and overnight stays.
